The ancient Bogolan (mudcloth) technique explained by the master textile dyers in Mali: Handspun, handwoven and hand-painted cotton. Mineral mud-dye is known as bogolanfini in Bambara and is a dyeing method which encompasses a lot of traditional symbolism.
